Japan – A Photo Essay

by Tamra-henna

Just as cross training in different movement disciplines  makes our physical practice more versatile, engaging in a variety of artistic mediums adds to our artistic flexibility.  Any artistic endeavor will enhance our perceptive and creative abilities and tend to keep us inspired.

For me, travel photography has been a source of inspiration and an additional creative outlet. It helps me to see the world in greater color and detail, and with more gratitude than I do in my daily routine.

I’d like to share with you some photos I have taken on my tours of Japan in both 2008 and 2010. I hope you enjoy them! (My favorite is the apprentice geishas!)
